Ornate Victorian Nut Cracker Grater Reversible Silver Plated 19th Century

 This fancy, utilitarian nut cracker was designed to go to war against any nut.

The cracker itself is quite a weighty hammer. There are graters for skin removal and the reversible

handle has the force to open pretty much any nut in either direction.

It's very clever and quite pretty. Circa 1800s.

This is silver plated and I desperately want to polish it but I leave that up to the new owner.

It has usage wear and some rust.
