Vintage Egg Form Clear Multi Faceted Crystal Prism Style Paperweight w Stand

 

Egg shaped crystal sculpture is in very good condition with only minor shelf wear to the  bottom of the stand to note. Mid century Scandinavian unmarked Nils Erik From sterling

This lovely modernist set of earrings, and a matching pendant was most likely made by Nils Erik From. As it is created with his signature, oxidized cupped disks and bezel set stones. The stones in this case are rhodochrosite. The set is unmarked, except for individual 925 markings on each piece. The pendant measures 2 inches from top loop to bottom.

Albert Scharning Scandinavian enamel heart and ribbon Brooch

 

Just in! 

Designed by Albert Scharning in 1950. This is lovely jeep red heart brooch is offset with a gold Vermeil ribbon.
Fully hallmarked on the back A. Sch. Norway sterling 925S. I have also seen this pin referred to as an Anthurium flower.
Doing research on this type of brooch, I found that Mr. Scharning finished his heart brooches with a C-clasp closure. In looking at the back of this particular brooch, I see that someone had taken it to a jeweler to have the type of clasp changed. This is a very delicate operation to do on enamel jewelry, but they succeeded. The replacement clasp is a much more secure option.

$35.00 SALE Miklos Borsos (1906-1990) Etching – Net Fishing at Sunrise , signed B.M. 1964

With just a few minimal lines, the artist Hungarian Miklos Borsos was able to capture the serene peace of a man fishing at dawn. Measuring 18 1/2“ x 14 1/2“ this rather large etching is signed and titled Miklos Borsos by the artist in pencil on the bottom edge of the work. Inside the plate it is signed ”B.M. 1964”.

Presently the artwork is glued at the top to a cardboard backing. Your framer should be able to clean and frame this piece nicely.

Miklós Borsos (1906 – 1990) Hungarian sculptor, medal artist, graphic designer. He illustrated hundreds of books with his etchings and drawings. In 1979, a permanent exhibition of his works donated to the city of Győr was opened on Káptalandomb .

Vintage 1000 Butterfly Famille Rose Canton Large Plate Hong Kong Decorated

 

Gorgeous 10 inch porcelain plate was exported from Japan to be hand painted and gilded in Hong Kong with the beloved 1,000 butterfly motif. Very minor shelf shelf and wash wear. Vintage Alebrije Porcupine Hand Made Folk Art Oaxaca Mexico Copal Rainbow Colors

 

Delightful vintage Mexican Folk Art figurine is in very good condition. Talented Mexican artists hand carved its body from copal wood and its quills from  maguey plant fiber. They use a multiple array of vibrant colors to give life to this porcupine and  decorate it with the traditional and detailed motifs that distinguish Mexico's alebrije artwork. It is approximately 3.5 inches tall, 5 inches long and 6 inches wide. None of the toothpick like quills are missing.  I was able to remove and replace them when dusting it. 10 pieces of restaurant china in the very pleasing NUTMEG pattern from the 1960's.

Pear Paperweight Artist Signed A Jablonski Studio Art Glass Sticker Poland

 

Hand made paperweight by prominent Polish glass artist Adam Jablonski is approximately 5.75 inches tall.

The beautiful cased crystal glass pear is a pleasing shade of yellow.

It is artist signed on the bottom and the original label is still attached.

Jablonski's glass studio was in Wolka Kowsowska, Poland and produced mouth blown art glass vases, sculptures, bowls and paperweights in 24% lead crystal and each piece is hand etched by Jablonski himself.

Adam Jablonski has earned a worldwide reputation for both unique glass artistry and as an eminent crystal glass production engineer with many patents to his name.

In very good condition. There is an errant spot or two and shelf wear.

 They are well made porcelain, red transfer ware with some hand embellished gilding.

4 plates in all. They are 9 1/2 inches in diameter. 

They feature bucolic scenes of young boys at leisure, and one is a vase scene.

They are all tied together by the color, the butterflies, and the branches of blossoms.

They are in very good condition and have seen little if any use. They have shelf and wash wear.

There is kiln grit, some iron spots, and one glazed over rim chip among various minor manufacturing flaws.
