Auction ends this afternoon - Antique Estate Large Desktop Bronze Cannon Replica Wood Carriage

 Handsome and heavy bronze cannon replica came from a fine New England estate.

The cast bronze cannon is just over 9 inches long and the barrel opening is 3/4 inch in diameter.

The carriage is about 7 1/2 inches long.

Rich honeyed patina on the bronze.

No markings.

This took a fall and the carriage needs repair.

The almost 6 pound bronze part is fine. The wagon should be easily repaired.

It holds the bronze part but could use some shoring up.

Rockingham Glaze Pottery Puppy Dog w Bow Clumber Spaniel Figurine

 

Rare figurine of a Clumber Spaniel with a primitive Rockingham glaze. This adorable pup has a ribbon tied around their neck.  Circa 1910s - 1920s. It is made of porcelain. Sulky Driver Figure from Saint Julien Weather Vane Sheet Copper and Brass

 Salvaged sulky cart driver figure from a Saint Julien weather vane. 

His head appears to be molded of solid brass and the rest of his body is welded sheet copper.

He is about 8 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches at his widest point.

He has wear, dents and verdigris and the remains of a sticker is on his back.

Ends Today! Chinese Milk and Blood Monochrome Transfer Ware Plates Boys Butterflies Blossoms

 They are well made porcelain, red transfer ware with some hand embellished gilding.

4 plates in all. They are 9 1/2 inches in diameter. 

They feature bucolic scenes of young boys at leisure, and one is a vase scene.

They are all tied together by the color, the butterflies, and the branches of blossoms.

They are in very good condition and have seen little if any use. They have shelf and wash wear.

There is kiln grit, some iron spots, and one glazed over rim chip among various minor manufacturing flaws.

19th c French Motto Politically Charged Chamber Pot McNICOL POTTERY Co Liverpool Ohio ENDS TODAY!

1800's chamber pot has been cold painted with a message of some sort of political discord but I am unsure about what. 

The motto is written in French and I have taken a picture of the translation. 

The surnames around the sides of the pot may be from the East Liverpool, Ohio region but I am unsure what it all means. Maybe something to do with the region's potteries?

The French translates to, "The one who burns his right behind sits on bells? 

I am hoping you know what it all means and offer this at auction for your consideration.

This semi granite pot has a painted over chip on the top rim, all over crazing, wear to the cold paint and typical manufacturing flaws.

The bold red, white, blue and black colors are very eye-catching. 

It's a real curiosity.

ANRI Wood Carving Endearing Couple Dancing True Love Italy - Auction

 

A dance of true love by a couple who are definitely made for each other.  It evokes very sentimental feelings. Masterful work. This endearing scene was captured by an extremely talented Anri wood carver.  The carving is a large size, approximately 3" wide  x 7" tall and marked Italy on the bottom.
