Pear Paperweight Artist Signed A Jablonski Studio Art Glass Sticker Poland

 

Hand made paperweight by prominent Polish glass artist Adam Jablonski is approximately 5.75 inches tall.

The beautiful cased crystal glass pear is a pleasing shade of yellow.

It is artist signed on the bottom and the original label is still attached.

Jablonski's glass studio was in Wolka Kowsowska, Poland and produced mouth blown art glass vases, sculptures, bowls and paperweights in 24% lead crystal and each piece is hand etched by Jablonski himself.

Adam Jablonski has earned a worldwide reputation for both unique glass artistry and as an eminent crystal glass production engineer with many patents to his name.

In very good condition. There is an errant spot or two and shelf wear.

Pre war antique spelter metal souvenir figure of Jasna Góra Monastery. Approximately 3 1/4 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches long. The Jasna Góra Monastery in Częstochowa, Poland, is a shrine dedicated  to the Virgin Mary and one of the country's places of pilgrimage.  The image of the Black Madonna of Częstochowa, also known as  Our Lady of Częstochowa, to which miraculous powers are attributed, is one of  Jasna Góra's most precious treasures. Boxed set has 4 ornaments with traditional Polish decoration.

Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz 1924-2002 Blown Red Sodium Glass Chalice with Clear Prunts

In excellent condition.
Measures 8-1/2' tall, the bowl is 5"in diameter.

Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz was born in 1924 in Siedlce and died in 2002 in Warsaw. Glazier artist, creator of unique glass and designer of utility glass including lighting glass. Husband of the artist Danuta Srebrzyńska-Orkuszowa, who also works in glass . His works are in the collections of the National Museum in Krakow and the National Museum in Wrocław Poland.
