Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz 1924-2002 Blown Red Sodium Glass Chalice with Clear Prunts

Measures 8-1/2' tall, the bowl is 5"in diameter.

Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz was born in 1924 in Siedlce and died in 2002 in Warsaw. Glazier artist, creator of unique glass and designer of utility glass including lighting glass. Husband of the artist Danuta Srebrzyńska-Orkuszowa, who also works in glass . His works are in the collections of the National Museum in Krakow and the National Museum in Wrocław Poland.
