Large Vintage Wooden Bowl Hand Made Weston Bowl Mill Vermont Cool Provenance

 

This vintage wooden salad bowl from Weston Bowl Mill is a beautiful addition to any kitchen. It came from the recent sale at the estate of the former ambassador to Switzerland,Faith Whittlesey, making it a unique culinary collectible.

Made in the 1960s, this Vermont made bowl features a natural wood and a rich brown color. Measuring 14 inches in diameter and 5 inches in height, it's perfect for serving large salads or side dishes. It would make a fine dough bowl. The bowl is very usable but has wear. I just oiled it with some cutting board oil (bottle not for sale, just so you know I did not use anything toxic)

Vintage Sterling Silver Forget-Me-Not Sweetheart Ring

They appear almost black.

They are artisan made and classically styled. They are marked by the maker illegibly, C M ? Clearly stamped 925.

They drop about 3/4 of an inch and almost 1/2 an inch at the widest part.

New Price! Vintage Salvador Dali Extreme Mustache Face Bookend by J Signore 1960s

Hilarious, obscure, unexpected, single bookend of Salvador Dali's face. He is as wild eyed and mustached as you could ever hope for. PLUS, I got it at the recent, nearby estate sale of the former US Ambassador  to Switzerland during the Reagan administration. Of all people. 6 Vtg amber/harvest gold, Coupe sherbet/champagne Anchor Hocking glasses

 Set of six vintage Anchor Hocking coupe, stemware glasses.

They are in excellent condition, and harvest gold in color. Harvest gold is what we called amber back in the 70s. Also from the 70s is the colonial revival style with a paneled design that these sport.
These cocktail glasses stand 4 3/4” tall, and are 3 3/4” in diameter.

Fabulous Crown Trifiari Sagitarius gold toned brooch is in near mint condition. They made the finest quality costume jewelry. Circa 1960's - 1970s mid century astrological craze. Nicely enhanced with the zodiac signs dates marked on the back. FENTON CUSTARD SATIN URANIUM GLASS VASE Textured Floral Hand Painted by Donna R

 

Very pale green satin custard glass vase contains uranium and fluoresces bright green in black light. This embossed vase is 4 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches across at the widest point..The pink flowers are textured and thoughtfully placed. This vase was hand painted by Fenton artist Sandy S. It is in very good condition with minor manufacturing flaws and minor wear. I have a matching footed compote in very good condition available also. See it here in our eBay shop.

Vintage 1000 Butterfly Famille Rose Canton Large Plate Hong Kong Decorated

 

Gorgeous 10 inch porcelain plate was exported from Japan to be hand painted and gilded in Hong Kong with the beloved 1,000 butterfly motif. Very minor shelf shelf and wash wear. Vintage Alebrije Porcupine Hand Made Folk Art Oaxaca Mexico Copal Rainbow Colors

 

Delightful vintage Mexican Folk Art figurine is in very good condition. Talented Mexican artists hand carved its body from copal wood and its quills from  maguey plant fiber. They use a multiple array of vibrant colors to give life to this porcupine and  decorate it with the traditional and detailed motifs that distinguish Mexico's alebrije artwork. It is approximately 3.5 inches tall, 5 inches long and 6 inches wide. None of the toothpick like quills are missing.  I was able to remove and replace them when dusting it. Red, orange, green, blue, yellow, purple. All the colors of the rainbow. Handle by the nose or tail.  Check it out in our eBAy store here.
