1920s Tettau Kunst Abtellung porcelain gem beetle scarab box

 

This absolutely gorgeous little 3 inch scarab decorated porcelain box is in remarkable condition.
Most likely made during the 1920s Egyptian revival era this fine white porcelain is highlighted with the relief of a gem beetle scarab. It is marked on the bottom Tettau Kunst Abtellung.
There are no chips no cracks no crazing, and the glaze is beautiful.
Rare and fine, I have only seen one other in my 50 years of buying and selling.

Vintage Modernist Fiery Opal Sterling Silver Triangle Earrings by Indigo 925

 

These lovely vintage sterling silver pierced earrings were made by Indigo Designs  and have a timeless styling about them. The opals really put on a colorful show. They drop about 3/4 of an inch and almost 1/2 an inch at the widest part. They are in excellent preowned condition. October birthstone. See them here on eBay.
