Antique Estate Large Desktop Bronze Cannon Replica Wood Carriage

Handsome and heavy bronze cannon replica came from a fine New England estate. The cast bronze cannon is just over 9 inches long and the barrel opening is 3/4 inch in diameter. The carriage is about 7 1/2 inches long. Rich honeyed patina on the bronze. No markings. This took a fall and the carriage needs repair. The almost 6 pound bronze part is fine. The wagon should be easily repaired. It holds the bronze part but could use some shoring up. See the 10 day eBay auction here.

Vintage Sterling Silver Modernist Globe Map Continents Half Earth Earrings GFMW

 

These pierced earrings are in very good condition. A complementary pair with North, South and Central America on one earring, Africa, Europe, Asia on the other.  They are 1 1/4 inches in diameter. Mackenzie Childs Victoria & Richard Multi Colored Fish Serving Bowl 15"

 

Wonderful, whimsical hand painted studio art pottery fish platter but deep enough serving bowl by Mackenzie Childs Ltd. 1991. This large bowl is 15" long and 1 1/4" deep and approx 8 3/4' wide.  Party sized, it will hold bountiful  amounts of seafood or your other favorite feasting foods. The potters included holes in the back so it can be hung up to display.  It has seen little if any use. It does have irregularities by the nature of  being studio pottery like small glaze pops. Belgium Pottery Centerpiece Footed Fruit Bowl Vintage 1950's Thulin Drip Glaze Pottery

andsome Vintage 1950's Belgium pottery fruit bowl centerpiece on 3 feet, marked with incised vase mark.

Unusual shape measuring 11-1/2 inches wide, with applied stylized modern ceramic flowers and leaves.

It looks like Thulin Drip Glaze Pottery with wonderful green and mocha running colors.

No Breaks or repairs, no cracks or chips. It does have a finely crazed glaze.

This center piece would look lovely with large flower heads floating in it.

Old reliable

 

This large antique teapot, is a big old workhorse of a girl made at the turn of the 20th century. Marked number seven made in England, it was produced by Price Brothers starting in 1901. She’s in very good condition for her age no exterior chips or cracks there are 3 little Edge nibbles to the inside edge of the lid ( see photos) and wear to the gold and raised paint decoration, as it is common and expected in these pieces.

2 Vtg 30s MIJ Lustre Owl Couple Vases / Lamp Bases

 Made in Japan in the 1930s these fabulous 11 inch tall matching luster vases are in excellent condition, except that each has a hole drilled in the bottom, toward the obvious intent on converting them to lamps. Truthfully they would make wonderful lamps. They are without chips or cracks or scratches, however one of them rocks slightly. If one was going to use them as lamps, the stick on feet that keep ceramic from scratching tables, would raise the vases high enough for a cord to come out of the bottom, and solve the rocking problem on that one vase.

Adorably whimsical, each vase depicts a pair of Comic owls on a branch. The painting was done by a very clever artist.

NEW! Vtg Tall Blood Red and White Victorian Style Ewer Pitcher Jug Dracula Special

 This very striking pitcher, stands 12 1/4 inches tall, and is made of ceramic.

Glazed blood red over a white body leaving free the white details, it is decorated with a snake on the handle.

When I went to do research on this piece, I found it to be a real mystery. The snake handle and flowered body in this exact style, can be found on antique , English, James Dudson Stoneware jugs from The mid-Victorian era. This gothic ewer, is done in that style but stretched to a taller body and not made of the same material. Although the item is marked coalport, it is definitely not Coalport. It is however a very fancy pitcher, that would look fabulous in any production of Dracula, or any vampire related blood drinking event.

In excellent vintage condition it is without damage.
