Jeff White Pottery Country Bird Motif Glazed Redware Decorated Plate 1987

Handsome artisan plate by Jeff White is 10 1/4' in diameter and in excellent condition.

An early, 1987 example of the pottery's emulation of American colonial era red ware.

Some crazing and imperfections. No no chips or cracks.

A wonderful vehicle for the old yellow, red and green glaze recipes.

I am not sure, but could this be a Christmas themed partridge in a pear tree?

Very well done. Made in Lebanon, PA.

Very heavy.
