Sulky Driver Figure from Saint Julien Weather Vane Sheet Copper and Brass

 Salvaged sulky cart driver figure from a Saint Julien weather vane. 

His head appears to be molded of solid brass and the rest of his body is welded sheet copper.

He is about 8 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches at his widest point.

He has wear, dents and verdigris and the remains of a sticker is on his back.

Late Victorian antique brass chain easel frame

A really handsome item from the 1890s. This English antique solid brass chain bordered frame is in very good condition for 130 year old item. A table frame, it has a working easel back.
I cleaned it up a wee bit, but I leave all patina decisions to the future owner. It does have some verdigris in the corners of the chain. The frame does have glass. I put two different pictures in the frame to show it off it’s potential.
This listing is for one frame.
The outside of the frame measures 9”x 7“ ,the inside image space is 5 1/4“ x 3 1/8“.

Bezalel School of the Arts Palestine Repoussé Relief Plaque Shepherd Playing Music to Sheep

Such a beautiful piece of work. It was created at the Bezalel School in Palestine, sometime soon after the turn of the last century. This lovely repoussé relief depicts a shepherd playing a flute like instrument for three sheep while relaxing under a tree. A very serene pastoral image.
The outside edge of the plaque measures approximately 5 1/4 inches wide by 6 inches tall and approximately an inch deep. The brass metal plaque measures 3 5/8“ x 4 1/2“. The condition is very, very good but being over 100 years old there is the occasional scratch to the wood. The metal plaque could be polished to a bright shine if the new owner so desired but some people prefer the patina that comes with age. I leave all patina decisions to the new owner. The Bezalel school was an art movement in Palestine in the late Ottoman and British Mandate periods. Named for the Bezalel Art School, predecessor of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, it has been described as "a fusion of oriental art and Art Nouveau."

Mr. Pickwick Brass Trinket Pocket Change Tray Dickens Pickwick Papers Dish England

Measuring 5 1/4“ x 4 1/2“ this brass trinket or pocket change tray is decorated with a figure of Mr. Pickwick from the Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens. The tray has a rope edge trim. An unusual item, most likely designed with the thought of a mans pocket change at the end of the day.
As you can see it has seen heavy use. I did not polish it leaving the patina choices to the new owner.

Mystery Man Brass Figure on Fence Toothpick Holder?

For the life of me I have tried hard to figure this figurine out. A little man wearing a hat and boots sits on a fence with a cup mounted behind him. The little man and the cup are secure but move around a little bit.
The little brass man is reaching behind himself, but for what purpose I do not know. I am putting him up for sale in the hope that someone recognizes what he’s for, or can think of a use for the nicely crafted little brass figure that he is.

European Brass Children Figurine 3 Antique Figures

Measuring 2 1/2 inches tall by 3 inches wide this little statue is made up of three antique brass children in what appear to be Austrian or German clothing. Approximately 100 years old. Years of patina, but if you prefer your brass shiny I’m sure they could be shined right up.

Victorian Children Sledding Statue Brass and Wood Figurine

Measuring 3 1/2 inches long by almost 3 inches high, this wonderful antique brass figurine depicts true Victorian children sledding. The little girl rides a wooden and brass sled that her brother pushes. Interestingly, the little boy has either the tail of a shirt or a tail , hanging out of the back of his pants. On the front of the sled is a small loop, indicating that these two children were once attached to something else. Very heavy for its size.

Walter Bosse Zebra Donkey Salt Pepper Holder Black Brass Hertha Baller 1950

This donkey salt and pepper shaker holder was designed by Walter Bosse and manufactured by Hertha Baller, Austria, Vienna, midcentury in 1950s.
The donkey is made of blackened brass. The shakers are missing - the listing price reflects this condition issue.

SOLD! Antique Brass/Bronze Doll Size Rocking Chair

Very nice small size figural 5 inch brass or bronze rocking chair ( The doll is not included in the sale).
I am not positive as to the age but I would think it was most likely from the 1920s.
Excellent vintage condition. The chair is either gilded bronze or gilded brass
and nicely detailed. Personally I would make it a little cushion for the seat.
