Gorgeous hand painting featuring peonies, birds and butterflies The mug is unusually large at approximately 4 1/2" tall and the diameter is approximately 4 inches wide. Well painted, with a nice clean foot. Elaborate twisted handle with raised areas.  Beautiful enamel colors amid thoughtful outlining and shading.  The cup is in good condition with manufacturing flaws such as glaze pops, iron spots and kiln grit.  There is damage to the handle and rims, wear and gold loss. Silhouette Nightscape Watercolor Painting Country Roadside  Impressionist Landscape by A A Hart is in very good condition. Arthur A. Hart lived in Longmeadow, a beautiful rural community in  western Massachusetts that may have inspired this painting.  Unusual rural roadside silhouette landscape. Purples, plums and amethyst. Handsome mid century charger sized plate was made in Japan by Toro. 

It features a large focal point peony and birds around the rim. 

Imari style hand enameled transferware is decorated in many shades of red, white and blue.

Large 12" octagonal shape platter is perfect for entertaining.

It is in excellent condition with only minor shelf and wash wear.

Vtg 40s Fenton Glass Pink Double Dove Sparrow Bird Nest Centerpiece Bowl Candy Dish

7 5/8" x 6 7/8" x 3 5/8"

No cracks or chips in excellent condition . However, there is a bumpiness on the edge where bubbles came up in the manufacturing. And there is a fold in the glass (at one of the birds tail) that was also from manufacturing.

Antique Islamic Muslim Ottoman Syrian Brass Koran Qur'an Casket Box

 When I bought this box I was happy to see it came with a little note which says “This little box came from Syria. Bought at worlds fair in Chicago in 1893“. 

The research I have done on this box and the style it is done in, does reflect that it was made at the end of the 19th century. A super rare item it is in exceptional condition for its age. The box measures a bit under 2 1/2 inches square, and is a smidgen over 1 inch tall.

The box is decorated with figures of human beings, birds, snakes and horses.
