Gorgeous hand painting featuring peonies, birds and butterflies The mug is unusually large at approximately 4 1/2" tall and the diameter is approximately 4 inches wide. Well painted, with a nice clean foot. Elaborate twisted handle with raised areas. Beautiful enamel colors amid thoughtful outlining and shading. The cup is in good condition with manufacturing flaws such as glaze pops, iron spots and kiln grit. There is damage to the handle and rims, wear and gold loss. Still lovely despite all that. |
