Boxed Vintage Chinese Lidded Ink Cup Hand Painted Enamel Dragon and Pearl 20th c

This vintage, well potted Chinese lidded ink cup is a stunning piece of art.
The hand-painted enamel dragon and pearl design is a beautiful representation of Chinese culture.
The cup is made of porcelain and has a diameter of 3 inches. It comes in its original box, which is 3 1/2 inches wide. This stamped ink cup is a unique addition to any collection of Chinese collectibles. Its provenance is not available, but it is clear that it was made with great care and attention to detail.
The cup is hand painted and has a traditional style that reflects the Chinese culture in a
20th century piece.

The jar is in excellent condition and the box has some wear and some discolorations.

Albert Scharning Scandinavian enamel heart and ribbon Brooch

Just in!
Designed by Albert Scharning in 1950. This is lovely jeep red heart brooch is offset with a gold Vermeil ribbon.
Fully hallmarked on the back A. Sch. Norway sterling 925S. I have also seen this pin referred to as an Anthurium flower.
Doing research on this type of brooch, I found that Mr. Scharning finished his heart brooches with a C-clasp closure. In looking at the back of this particular brooch, I see that someone had taken it to a jeweler to have the type of clasp changed. This is a very delicate operation to do on enamel jewelry, but they succeeded. The replacement clasp is a much more secure option.

Cathrineholm Norway Black Enamel Lotus Dutch Oven Pot Bowl w lid

This is a nice used but cared for Catherineholm enamel pot with lid.

Hard to find black color with white lotus leaves.

Approximately 8" in diameter.

It looks like it was only used for special occasions and not every day use.

There are small areas of rust on the silver handles where they attach that should be easy to clean up with some steel wool if you choose.

It's not perfect but displays beautifully and is fully functional. Usage wear and some minor manufacturing flaws.

Please examine all the photos closely to be sure this is to your liking.

Sold as seen.

Thank you for stopping by.
