Framed Art IN DISGRACE Lithograph Girl with Puppy Dog Bessie P. Gutmann Poem

A nice framed copy of Bessie Gutmann's humorous print "Disgrace". This features a young girl sent to the corner while her puppy dog tries to comfort her. Inscribed on the back, from Nana Christmas 1943 with a wonderful poem. A printed copy of the poem that is based on this print, by M. Leonora Harig? It is a delightful story  to explain the picture.  Copyright G. & G. Most likely Gutmann & Gutmann.  It's a perfect little tie in. It is inches 19 tall and just about 15 inches wide. Very good condition for its age. Some foxing under the frame. Some some wear to the frame plus dust and debris under the frame.  Nothing serious. It is a really nice copy of this old print. Rockingham Glaze Pottery Puppy Dog w Bow Clumber Spaniel Figurine

 

Rare figurine of a Clumber Spaniel with a primitive Rockingham glaze. This adorable pup has a ribbon tied around their neck.  Circa 1910s - 1920s. It is made of porcelain. It is about 3 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches long. There are manufacturing flaws and wear but the dog is in very good condition. Check out the eBay auction here.
