Miniature Vienna Bronze Cat on Chair Playing with Terrier Dog

At over 120 years old, this is adorable 1 5/8 inch figurine is a Vienna bronze depicting a cat on a chair with an attentive Jack Russell attempting to play. Structurally sound it sits just fine although it has obviously been bent on that back chair leg. One of the tiny dog’s back legs has a manufacturing fracture line that has been there a good long time, the foot seems firm but delicate. The paint is about 95% present some chips here and there. Just adorable.

Austrian Bronze Cold Painted Pekingese Dog Figurine

Just look at him! This feisty little Pekingese pup is so full of character, so full of vim and vigor in the movement of his fur. Measuring approximately 4 inches long and 2 1/2 inches high, he’s a heavyweight solid paperweight about a pound and a half. He retains almost all of his cold paint, except for an occasional spot (see the top of his nose). Please see the photos for full description of condition. I’ve never seen another Pekingese dog statue with such beautiful detail. Marked made in Austria on his tummy. C. 1920's.
