SALE! Mid century Vietnamese woman handpainted china plaque by Laraque

This is absolutely one of the most beautiful pieces of china painting I have ever found. Measuring 12 and three-quarter inches by 9 inches, with a half inch rise of a lip around the edge, it is pierced at either end for hanging.

Hand painted and signed Laraque, the plaque is without a date but appears to be a mid century work.
The porcelain painting pictures a young Vietnamese woman with an umbrella, carrying a bottle.

SALE!!!! Mid Century Urban Decay Watercolor- framed 19” x 16”

This fabulous watercolor of an urban scene is signed in what I believe is JL Southwick. The colors, frame and matting lead me to believe that this painting is from the 1960s. The outside measurement of the frame is 19 x 16“ the inside image is 13 1/2 by 10“. I have not been able to find any other work by this artist, but with the beauty of this work, I hope they had a long career.

Miniature Vienna Bronze Cat on Chair Playing with Terrier Dog

At over 120 years old, this is adorable 1 5/8 inch figurine is a Vienna bronze depicting a cat on a chair with an attentive Jack Russell attempting to play. Structurally sound it sits just fine although it has obviously been bent on that back chair leg. One of the tiny dog’s back legs has a manufacturing fracture line that has been there a good long time, the foot seems firm but delicate. The paint is about 95% present some chips here and there. Just adorable.

Wonderful nautical theme and apple juice clear Bakelite clamper bracelet. In lovely condition it is without chips or cracks, the little screws and hinge are tight ( however , the bracelet leaves a 16th of an inch gap when closed.
This is an unusual bracelet in that there is no carving on the inside – it is simply painted with enamel paint ( whether this is the original paint or a repaint of the original paint I cannot tell you) . An amazing addition to your bakelite collection. For a size small wrist.
