Vintage Swedish Modernist Rune Tennesmed Pin Brooch MCM Pinecone and Pine Boughs

 

This vintage Swedish brooch is a unique piece created by Rune Tennesmed in a modernist style. The design features pine branches and a pinecone set in a contrasting oxidized field. It is a perfect accessory for  any occasion, including Christmas, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, or winter events.  The brooch is made of pewter and measures 1 3/4 inches in length. It is signed by the artist and is an  original piece from Sweden, with an undated era. Circa 1960s. The silver and black color combination  makes it suitable for both men and women. Hoganas Keramik Studio Pottery Vase in a Deep Lush Inky Cobalt Blue Mid Century

Standing just a shade under 8 inches tall, this striking piece of Swedish pottery by Hoganas Keramic is in excellent condition.
The first two pictures show the real beauty of the blue color glaze on this heavyweight vase. Very reminiscent of art deco styling, it would look fabulous with sunflowers!
