Antique Victorian Sterling silver OWL head stickpin with sparkly eyes

This fabulous Victorian stickpin depicts a sterling silver owl head with sparkling eyes.
The pin is marked sterling on the stem as you can see in the pictures. The setting for the owl’s eyes has little openings in the back for more sparkle.
After doing some investigation, I believe this stickpin was made by Riker brothers.
Interesting for any occasion but especially nice with Halloween upcoming.
It would also make a lovely holiday gift for the teacher or educator in your life. ( also could be an excellent gift for a Harry Potter fan.)
The stick pin is almost 2.75 inches long. It is in excellent condition for an item that is over 100 years old.

See it here in our Etsy shop.

SOLD! Set Vtg Mid Victorian Brooches 14k Pearl Brooch and Safety Pins

These two matching mid Victorian gold and pearl pins are just gorgeous! If you know jewelry, you know how hard it is for two matching objects to stay together almost 200 years. Each brooch is approximately 5/8 inches in diameter, with safety chains that measure almost 3 inches long, each one ends with a gold safety pin.
The gold tested at 14k. The pins all work beautifully. I must say under magnification, I can see that at least two of the pearls have been replaced by an amateur. ( One in each brooch) and should be checked by your jeweler, (if the pearl replacement is important to you).
These would make a lovely gift for a bride who enjoys antique jewelry.

$185
