VINTAGE Catholic ST. ANNE DE BEAUPRE Statue Figurine France

Lovely 5" tall religious figure is cast and I am not sure of the metal but it does have an added bronze patina. Beautifully made and quite heavy for its size.

Marked France.

The Basicilca of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré is in Quebec and very popular with pilgrims. It has been credited by the Catholic Church with many miracles of curing the sick and disabled.

Anne is the patron saint of sailors, mothers, grandmothers, married couples and the infertile, equestrians, lace makers, miners, the poor, seamstresses and women in labor.

Saint Anne's Feast Day is celebrated on July 26. It is preceded by a Novena to Saint Anne, July 17 to July 25.

Sterling Saint Roch St. Rocco Medal Patron Saint of Dogs Invalids Falsely Accused People and Bachelors

This highly detailed, French sterling silver (it was acid tested) religious medal, depicts Saint Roch 1295-1327, his dog and staff.

A.K.A. Saint Rocco

Quite a story he has - (from Wiki)

Roch (lived c. 1348 – 15/16 August 1376/79 (traditionally c. 1295 – 16 August 132]), also called Rock in English, is a Catholic saint, a confessor whose death is commemorated on 16 August and 9 September in Italy; he is especially invoked against the plague. He has the designation of Rollox in Glasgow, Scotland, said to be a corruption of Roch's Loch, which referred to a small loch once near a chapel dedicated to Roch in 1506.
Coming into Italy during an epidemic of plague, he was very diligent in tending the sick in the public hospitals at Acquapendente, Cesena, Rimini, Novara, and Rome, and is said to have effected many miraculous cures by prayer and the sign of the cross and the touch of his hand. At Rome, according to the Golden Legend, he preserved the "cardinal of Angleria in Lombardy" by making the mark of the cross on his forehead, which miraculously remained. Ministering at Piacenza he himself finally fell ill. He was expelled from the town; and withdrew into the forest, where he made himself a hut of boughs and leaves, which was miraculously supplied with water by a spring that arose in the place; he would have perished had not a dog belonging to a nobleman named Gothard Palastrelli supplied him with bread and licked his wounds, healing them. Count Gothard, following his hunting dog that carried the bread, discovered Roch and became his acolyte.
He is a patron saint of dogs, invalids, of falsely accused people, bachelors, and several other things. He is the patron saint of Dolo (near Venice) and Parma, as well as Casamassima, Cisterna di Latina and Palagiano (Italy.)

SOLD! Antique Sterling Archangel Michael Religious Medal

SOLD! Although this medal has seen much wear, the design depicting Archangel Michael and the body of Satan in the form of a dragon, is stunningly Art Nouveau. I’ve never found another one like it. Heavier than your average medal, it measure 7/8 inch across. On the back- Quis Deus (translated What God).
In late medieval Christianity, Michael, together with Saint George, became the patron saint of chivalry and is now also considered the patron saint of police officers, paramedics and the military.
Apart from his being a patron of warriors, the sick and the suffering also consider Archangel Michael their patron saint.
Based on the legend of his 8th-century apparition at Mont-Saint-Michel, France, the Archangel is the patron of mariners in this famous sanctuary.
