Stunning, jagged edged raku vase is in excellent condition. Abstract, brutalist owl formed vase signed by Nick Troisi. Extraordinary glaze. Some minor artisan flaws. There are a couple of areas of white that show...one in particular that may look like a chip but, looking under magnification, it is as the artist made it. It is the nature of how he created the jagged edge. See photos at the end. There is a slight smell of eucalyptus from the vase interior that is sometimes associated with the raku firing process. |
