Homestead in Early Spring Oil on Canvas by Girard 1973

 

Lovely oil painting of a family farm in what appears to be early spring.  It is approx 17" long and 13" tall, signed and dated by the artist, Girard. This artist places their signature quite uniquely. The painting features a family farm with windmill and water tank surrounded by a yellow, grassy grain field and flowers. A pond with primitive fence completes the canvas.  Girard created several works with this homestead theme in the early 70's. I believe this is the nicest one. Very talented painter and a very intricate work.  It will provide any room with a cheery splash of color. Nice early example of 1970's environmentalism becoming an art movement. Totally cottagecore.  The painting is in excellent condition but the frame has a few minor issues. It would really benefit from a good cleaning. Check out the photos for  accurate condition. Enormous Vtg Waterford Crystal Glass MASTER CUTTER Centerpiece Footed Vase 12"

SOLD! Gorgeous Waterford Crystal hand cut vase from Master Cutters series and discontinued in 1995.
It is 12" tall and spans 7" across the top. Very complex cuts catch the light beautifully.

It is a showpiece and simply huge, weighing in at 9 pounds. Signed on the bottom.
In excellent condition with some very minor shelf wear to the underside of the foot.
It will take your breath away.
