Czech Boho Black Amethyst Glass Patch Stash Trinket Box Enamel Cosmos Bluebells

 

This vintage Czech trinket box is a gorgeous addition to any collection. The round box features a beautiful floral pattern, of Cosmos and bluebell flowers hand-painted in contrasting white enamel. Just in time for October birthdays.

Measuring 2 inches in diameter and 1-1/2 inches in height, it's the perfect size for storing small  trinkets, stashes and treasures.

Crafted of the deepest, darkest black amethyst glass. The enamel cosmos and bluebells add a touch of Victorian style to the design. This antique trinket box has a Bohemian origin and is in great condition. Ideal for collectors of decorative boxes, it will make a wonderful addition to any home decor.

Studio Art Pottery Lidded Jar Vessel Urn Flambeau Crystalline Glaze Signed

 

Stunning covered jar in crystalline glaze. Expertly potted with a snug fitting lid. The colors and pearlessence are complex and amazing.  All pale purple and pink hues. Lavender, lilac, mauve...then the light changes a bit and it  looks dusty pink and silver. If you've never owned pottery with a crystalline glaze, that's what it does.  Crackled and crazed.  The crackling is visible to the naked eye except where a seeded zinc crystal had formed.  Under magnification the crackle resumes, yet smaller. It plays with color and light in the most delightful ways.  It is in excellent condition.  Made during the huge surge in studio art pottery in 60's and 70's Signed illegibly by the artist. I have only seen one other like this. It is lovely. A perfect stash jar or would be the perfect as a receptacle for treasures, trinkets or just display it,  near a window. Antique Victorian Book Shaped Stash Box Hidden Valuables Container

 

This amazing little book shaped box appears to be from approximately 1870. The detail photo close up of the book cover reveals a mama bird returning home to her nest design impressed in the leather.

Measuring 3-5/8” by 2-1/2” by 3/4”. It is a very good vintage condition considering it’s age.

An endearing a little antique where someone once stored their valuables.

A great gift for a bibliophile who enjoys antiques.
