Brutalist Wood Cut Chariots by A.Tapper 1961 MCM

Really, a fabulous Brutalist wood cut print of chariot wheels - marked in pencil, “Chariot sketch” in the left corner and  A. Tapper 1961 on the right.

A strikingly harsh visual, expressively done in black on cream white. It would be a handsome addition to any mid-century home that was into 20th century modern design. The rice print paper itself is in very good condition, but it will need a new mat when it is put in a frame, as you can see in the photos. The mat is 18” x 14”, the inside cut out size is 14 1/4 x 10 1/4”

Frame for an instant, affordable heirloom.

Check it out in our Etsy shop here.

Antique Brass/Bronze Little Boy Pushing Cart

Cute Victorian child pushes a cart and basket with moving wheels. The piece may be a marriage – I don’t know if the bronze basket is original to the piece - It fits well but it doesn’t sit flush. I am selling it as I got it.

A really great figural old trinket or jewelry holder for your night table. (The jewelry is not included in the sale, for display purposes only)
5.25” long
3” wide
3” tall
I’m not sure if this is gilded bronze or aged brass.
