Vintage Chinese Affluent Woman Trinket Shard Box Silver Wash Over Copper from the Academy Shop Honolulu. It is in very good condition. The shard was hand painted and features a well to do woman with butterfly hair comb and earrings. Ornate metal work. Approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter, it is perfect for trinkets, baubles, snuff, prized jewelry or gifts. I believe this was purchased from Honolulu Academy of Arts Museum shop in the 1970's along with several other boxes I was fortunate enough to acquire. This box comes with it's note as to the porcelain shard's origins from the Academy Shop. |
