A collection of recipes contributed by Woonsocket Call readers and assembled by beloved columnist Pat Gratton sometime in the late 1970s. The book includes various recipes that have been tried and tested by the community, making it a reliable source of cooking inspiration. So many regional treats. The recipe for Dynamite has a brilliant secret ingredient, a sachet of pickling spice. If stuff like that interests you, you will love this cookbook. Stuffies, chowder, seafood and all manner of sweets and baked goods. I was surprised by the amount of thoughtful diabetic recipes for desserts. I love the reader's aliases. Sure to be a family heirloom. Some wear and tear noted. |

Christo Hand Signed Running Fence Art 1976 - Local Pick Up Only
Signed by Christo himself. Measures approximately 40” x 26”. Photo by Jeanne-Claude. Copyright 1976The first big environmental art movement "happening" I can recall. Was a big deal at the time.
Clean, crisp image is unframed and still sealed in shrink wrap. It has a hanger on the back and is ready to display as is.
There are some indentations that are not that bad but if you're going to have it framed I know they can fix them for short money. Look closely at the pictures to see them.
I may be able to deliver between Boston and Providence. Please ask via craigslist.

Vtg Otagiri Mother and Baby Seagulls Porcelain Figurine MIJ
In excellent condition, this figurine of a mama seagull and her baby still has an Otagiri sticker on the bottom. In muted tones this would look lovely in many different environments. Measuring 5 1/2 x 7 x 2“
Hokusai Wave Meets Jonathan Livingston Seagull in Unused 1970s Ceramic Teapot by Otagini Japan
You got a love the Otagiri import company, they imported what was cutting edge for the second. This vintage 1970s teapot is oh so part of the explosion of seagull oriented items marketed after Jonathan Livingston Seagull. The designer of this piece, was also nice enough to pick up a little of the great wave at Kanagawa by Hokusai, for flavor.
In very good condition. I don’t think it’s ever seen used as it still has its gold sticker on the bottom. I would call it excellent except during manufacturing there was a glaze skip at the very top of one of the loops that hold the handle one, which doesn’t effect overall look or use.
