Pair of Chinese Export Porcelain Famille Rose Bowls 1820-1840 Beauties

Created in China during the early 19th century, 1820 to 1840, these beautiful matching enamel painted porcelain bowls were made for the export market to the Middle East and India.

Measuring 7 7/8 inches in diameter, they are colorfully hand-painted and in remarkable condition for being 200 years old.

Each dish does have a minor fault, as the arrows point to in the last two pictures. One of the dishes has a small lip chip, the other has a short tight time line.

Please study the pictures for a full condition description, and to appreciate the artistry involved in their creation.

Check them out in our Etsy shop here.

1915 Royal Doulton Series Ware Tunis Chamberstick Super rare!

This is such an incredibly rare item!

Made by Royal Doulton from 1912 to 1926, and designed by Harry Allen ,the Tunis line was part of their seriesware Middle Eastern scenes.
This fabulous, very large candle holder weighs a pound and a half and is 6 inches in diameter. A heavy duty item. These chambersticks were designed to sit solidly on your nightstand and reduce the possibility of fire.
In all my years of buying and selling I have never seen this chamber stick in this pattern, it is quite the find. Without chips or cracks, it is finely crazed, as is common in Royal Doulton from that era.
