Gubelin 18k Yellow Gold Brutalist Libra Zodiac Brooch Astrological Pin

From their 1980 Zodiac line, this fabulous modernist Gubelin LIBRA Brooch is a rare item. I have not found any of the Zodiac pieces of jewelry that weren’t pendants. I believe this one was bespoke or custom made by Gubelin as the craftsmanship is unwavering. Marked with the company on the bottom outside of the ring and the number 750.
This brooch has clearly seen use but it is not abused. It looks as though it was probably worn on the lapel of a suit jacket on a frequent basis. The modernist style doesn’t scream zodiac, so this pin would also make a fine gift for a lawyer interested in the scales of justice.
The pin weighs 6 g and is 23.75mm in diameter.

H&H Hand and Hammer Laple Pin 3D Sterling Sparrow in Bird House "Nest Sweet Nest"

This vintage lapel pin made by Hand and Hammer depicts the most adorable little sparrow peeking out of his or her birdhouse.
Marked sterling silver this one and a quarter inch long brooch is fully three dimensions with the back of the pin showing the back of the birdhouse and the back of the bird. In the birdhouse we can see a cute little sign that says “Nest Sweet Nest” and the H & H Sterling mark.
The details and craftsmanship are really beautiful on this little piece.
This would be an excellent gift for your realtor or a housewarming gift for a new homeowner. It would also be dandy for people who love birds.
