Miklos Borsos (1906-1990) Etching – Net Fishing at Sunrise Signed B.M. 1964

With just a few minimal lines the Hungarian artist Miklos Borsos  was able to capture the serene peace of a man fishing at dawn. Measuring 18 1/2“ x 14 1/2“ this rather large etching is signed and titled Miklos Borsos by the artist in pencil on the bottom edge of the work. Inside the plate it is signed ”B.M. 1964”.

Presently the artwork is glued at the top to a cardboard backing. Your framer should be able to clean and frame this piece nicely.

Miklós Borsos (1906 – 1990) Hungarian sculptor, medal artist, graphic designer. He illustrated hundreds of books with his etchings and drawings. In 1979, a permanent exhibition of his works donated to the city of Győr was opened on Káptalandomb .
