This wonderful silk screen of a street scene in the art district of Montmartre, France, is in excellent vintage condition with vivid colors. I believe this was done during the postwar era due to the colors and style of this beautiful piece of art. Tucked inside of the frame is the word Montmartre in the left hand corner and Brouche’ in the right.
I think it’s a 40s/50s representation of an earlier time.
The outside of the frame measures 14.5”x17.5”.
