Gorgeous Infant of Prague Statue Large 1966 Columbia Statuary Italy 19"

This breathtaking chalkware statue is approx. 19" tall and certainly commandeers the presence of any room.The child's face is exceptional. The blue eyes are piercing. The lacy gown and cape are extraordinary and regally enhanced with metallic silver thread. There are three red ribbons pinned to the gowns bottom.

From a fine local estate. Made by Columbia Statuary, 1966 in Italy and lovingly care for by one owner.

In wonderful condition with the gown overall slightly yellowed by age, dusty in corners and crevices and there are some stains on the inside of gown and cape and loose threads here and there. The edges are raw where the hands poke out. The top of the crown comes out and is easily placed back in. The cross on the orb does spin around but is secure.

Antique Alabaster Bust of Jesus Christ

 This beautifully carved bust of Jesus Christ was made in Italy, as is inscribed in the bottom. The craftsmanship is astounding. I have seen other alabaster carved busts of Jesus with similar form and style that are labeled “after professor Giuseppe Bessi”.
