Tis the Season for Hurricane Lamps

You are an official New Englander when you have your hurricane lamp.
We always have them. Tony can't lay off them. Storm related power outages are a fact of life here.
You can use flashlights but there something so charming about an oil lamp.

Antique Vig Row Rowing Exercise Machine

Wow, Check out this circa 1905 rowing exercise machine.
The Vig Row made in Bridgeport Conn. Cast spelter and wood in still working condition as demonstrated by one of our favorite customers!

All original.

Very rare and perhaps the only one kicking around with all original parts and in working condition.
Wonderful Viking ship logo.
If you know someone who owns a gym and looking for cool decor...have them take a look.
We even found a guy who turn a similar one into an uber mod coffee table.

Heres one on Ebay but it has been restored.

Peek at Brimfield

We did not go this time. I am getting up there and though each booth leaves me so excited to see the next...I can't do the Brimfield miles like I used to.
My idea - those Segway gizmo's. Heck, rent em....with a little cart behind them. I'd pay good money and spend all my money at Brimfield again. Free idea...use it!

Wanted Vintage Doilies Linens Barkcloth Table Runners Antimacassars

Vintage Doilies Linens Bark cloth Table Runners Antimacassar's
Sorry no quilts. They just don't seem to sell like they use to.
Will pay cash or trade for shop merchandise.
Please no stains, rips or smells accepted.
Call or stop by the shop.
We always keep a supply on hand and these are some of out best sellers.
Like I always say, our prices are more than reasonable and I don't think we have ever charged more than 10 bucks tops for the fanciest of fancies. So our payout would be fair based on our selling price.

Thank you in advance

What's an Antimacassar  you say....
I guess the best way to describe them is a larger doily designed to sit on the headrest of an upholstered chair to guard against men's hair pomade/ Brill Cream from the 40's and 50's.
